In the security industry, the importance of alert, well trained staff cannot be undermined, and at MBG we put all our employees through regular training, covering all manner of possible situations.

Apart from being SOB (Security Officers Board) trained, all site guards are well versed in adapting to various Security duties, including:

* Co-ordinating a busy reception area.
* Manning and monitoring distribution gates.
* Monitoring a CCTV system.
* Watching and reporting any irregularities such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards and emergency situations.
* Contacting emergency responders such as police, fire and ambulance personnel as required.
* Remaining alert to the presence of unauthorized persons or security code violators; approaching suspicious persons and notifying police as appropriate.
* Confronting and detaining violators, as required, until police arrive.

MBG prides itself on maintaining a low staff turnover by creating a positive working environment which translates into focused and motivated employees. In the unlikely event of industrial action, MBG has policies and procedures in place to ensure continued service to our valued customers.

All our security officers have good communication skills, both verbal and written and a good command of the English language.
